Quranic Events in Iraq Mark Gen. Soleimani, Al-Muhandis Martyrdom Anniversary

IQNA – Quran recitation sessions are being held in Iraq on the martyrdom anniversary of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

Iranian qaris are in Iraq to take part in Quranic programs being held on the martyrdom anniversary of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

 

The programs, titled “Ashrat al-Fajr al-Quraniya (Ten Quranic Dawns), are held for ten days. 

They are attended by Iraqi and Iranian qaris and Quran memorizers, Masoud Deris, director of the Basair al-Quraniya Institute told IQNA.

He said there will be a total of 160 Quranic sessions in 13 governorates of the Arab country.

Most of them will be hosted in mosques and religious centers, according to Deris.

In each session, two qaris from Iraq and one qari from Iran recite verses from the Holy Book, he noted.

The Basair al-Quraniya Institute organizes the events in cooperation with grassroots Quranic institute Itthad al-Quraniyeen, he stated.

Meysam Hamidinik, Seyed Mohammad Kermani, Mohsen Qassemi, Shoja Zuwaidat, Mohammad Javad Kashefi, Hossein Pourkavir, Yunes Shahmoradi, Vahid Barati, Mojtaba Parvizi, and Ali Khoshnoud are among the Iranian reciters taking part in the programs.
